home for the weekend

fifteen wonderful things that have have made me smile this weekend:

+the thirteen+hour drive from provo through the night with a whole lot of talking and sleeping
+coming through snoqualmie pass and seeing the sign for "seattle 100 [miles]"

+nathan and his high pitch scream as he ran out the door and jumped on me

+looking down at both my little men who were clinging on to me with tears streaming down their faces making me feel all sorts of loved

+singing some good ol' rodgers and hammerstein with mom at the piano

+window shopping in gig harbor with mom

+going for a walk in the harbor with someone extra lovely while the sun went down, with a stop at anthony's for some huckleberry slump, burnt cream, and hot chocolate because we were freezing

+ten-minute hugs and kisses before i go to bed every night from the little redhead

+getting woken up from a nap with little kisses from the same little redhead

+breakfast in bed, curtesy of nathan

+general conference curled up in bed with the two little men all snuggled up in my arms (as pictured above)

+late-night grocery shopping with mom for some late-night spiced cider

+chick flicks in bed with hannah

+cold air, cloudy skies, and rain with the windows open

+not being anywhere near provo
