Summer Again!

I drove the 900 miles from Seattle to Provo on Saturday with Ryan and Ashley, averaging probably about 85 mph the entire trip, and getting rained on the entire time.  When we arrived at our destination, Ashley and I pulled my mattresses out into the middle of my living room floor and we slept (after hiking the Y at midnight with Ben) with the sliding door open by our heads with the cool air blowing inside and the sound of rain lulling us to sleep.  Remember the chimes?  All night long, baby.  Best decision this summer.

And the beds are still out.  I'm going on night #3 sleeping out here.  Keri joined me last night.  Remember in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button when they had their mattress out in the middle of their living room before they had furniture?  It's like that, except that we have furniture and Keri is DEFINITELY not Brad Pitt.  But still, you get the picture.  

Anyway, it's summer now and classes started today.  Lovely.  Really though, it's nice to be busy.  Two and a half hours of Intro to Family Processes every Monday and Wednesday morning, followed by New Testament every day, and Intro to Psychology on Thursday, and....(this is my favorite)... PIANO LESSONS!  Still looking for a job, which is easy to procrastinate without a vehicle, but I'll get one eventually.  

Also, last night I decided that it's time to REALLY very SERIOUSLY take myself SERIOUSLY and get rid of some of my love, if you know what I mean.... yes, I'm talking about the love on my behind.  Time to lose some weight, girl!  So, after all of that, I went out to frozen yogurt with Maddy.  Best idea all day?  Yes.  I almost regret it, but not quite.  Maddy and I are going to do the Dirty Dash in September, by the way.  How excited am I?  Very.  

AND, last but not least, I got together with Ben tonight and we "practiced" at the Richards Building on campus for an hour or something.  We really just played around and danced about everything we could think of at the second.  In August we will compete Smooth and Latin.  It will be hot, and we will blow the minds of all those in attendance.  And we will win.  End of story. 

It was a great day, and I get to sleep in again tomorrow.  Even better.  AND I even got a cat call today.  See?  I told ya it was a good day.
