Someday, chapter 13: When I Have My Own Family
- I will take them on trips across the world
- I will make midnight snacks and bake cookies for Santa
- I will take them to the city park and to DisneyLand
- I will teach them to do their "5 Things" (thanks, Mom) and make them breakfast every morning
- I will read books out loud and pray with them at night
- I will take pictures all the time and have them framed all across our home
- I will keep a clean house and make sure to have Family Night every week at one point or another
- I will spend time with each child individually each week
- I will teach my children how to dance
- I will make sure there is music in the home and that my children know and appreciate hymns
- I will show my children that I love and adore their father
- I will listen to my family and have an open mind to their idea
- I will try to be understanding
- I will wrap my arms around my family and tell them I love them every day
- I will go on dates with my husband every week, even if it's just a walk around a block or two
- I will laugh and play with my family as much as I possibly can
- I will cheerfully be my kids' chauffeur
- I will do everything in my power to be trusted and respected my family and I will trust and respect them right back
- I will plant a garden full of delicious food and beautiful flowers
- I will have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
- I will go camping with my family every summer
- I will go with my family to plays, musicals, concerts, symphonies, and Shakespeare in the Park
- I will do everything I can do ensure a good education for my children so that they will be ready for college, and enthusiastic for the future
- I will paint my little girl's nails and take her to ballet (or soccer, whichever she prefers)
- I will have pictures of the temple and the Savior throughout the house
- I will take my family to church every Sunday
- I will clean and cook without complaining, but I will also teach my children to help
- I will take time for myself every week to be alone and rejuvenate
- I will continue to dance
- I will pour my entire heart and life into my family, and I will not let anything get in my way
- I will rise to my potential to be the best mother and wife I can possibly be
And the list goes on and on and on...
And the list goes on and on and on...
