Classes have started, the woes of moving into a new apartment are coming to an end, and the Wasatch Range is turning yellow and red. Unfortunately the days are still hotter than I'd like, but there is a promise of cooler days and a gorgeous autumn ahead. Give me one more month and I'll be tramping around in boots and light jackets. I can't wait. But until then I'll still enjoy my warm summer nights, and laying on the dry grass with a book.
These days I keep thinking about culinary school in the future, and the possibility of living in Colorado or on the east coast, while still trying to enjoy my remaining years here in Utah. But I do like Utah a lot more than I used to, it would just take a heck of a reason (or a person) to keep me here for too long. I'm too excited to see what the world has to offer to even consider staying anywhere for too long, though. I've lived in the greater Seattle area, and Utah. I've seen lots of the Western states, Washington D.C. and New York, a little bit of Canada, and a few weeks of Germany. That's not enough. A couple months in Europe is first on the list, followed by Africa, India, Indonesia, South America, train ride across Canada, Hawaii at some point, Jerusalem, Iceland, and a thousand other places.
Where have you been? Where do you want to go? Do you get as excited about traveling as I do? I want to know.
