Gig Harbor! (and a recipe)

Okay, so obviously I'm not either of the girls in the video, but this my home, people! I just had to share it! So watch it. Like, now. And yes, I did grow up there. Yes, it looks exactly like that. Queue jealousy.

Okay, so if that didn't get you, maybe this recipe will. It's honestly like the worlds easiest recipe, but for some reason they're my most favorite pancakes, especially if I put lots of mini chocolate chips on while cooking. They're just delightful, and so perfect in the morning. You know, they're even kind of perfect for a midnight snack, if you were wondering.

World's Best Pancakes (as named in my phone)

Mix together and let stand for 5 minutes:
3/4 cup milk
2 tbls vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar, but I one time I even used balsamic when I was realllly desperate, and it tasted good! - btw, I like this method a lot more than buttermilk.)

In a big bowl, mix together:
1 cup flour
2 tbls sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 baking soda
1/2 salt

Whisk into milk:
2 tbls melted butter
1 egg

Whisk wet ingredients into the flour just until mixed. It will be pure fluff when you dip into it! Fry on medium heat, and use butter to grease the pan, but make sure not to over-cook them. Cover in mini chocolate chips or blueberries before you flip them. You know, if you want. Then top with real maple syrup and some powdered sugar, and dive in. I made these about five times in two weeks. So good.

Enjoy! :)
