For the record, I have no idea how to blog.
It's true, which makes me feel a little pitiful. I mean, just look at how many times I've redesigned my blog. I do like change. A lot.
Moving on.
Thursdays are my favorite day. Well, maybe Tuesdays are, but on Thursday I just add ice skating to my schedule. Except today. Today I skipped. I'll blame that on Jenna and Josh being gone, but really I just decided to stay home and write a paper. But if I'm being honest, I might as well confess now that I haven't really worked on that paper for more than an hour. I got caught up in this blogging business.
I digress.
For some reason I always have a hard time with being on time to Book of Mormon. Sometimes I just hear the kitchen calling to me, so I eat and eat and eat, then finally get out of the apartment. I suppose worse things could happen. So anyway, Book of Mormon was followed by scouting around the JSFB for a place to sit in the sun, but to no avail. By eleven I was in my usual spot in the library, working on the op-ed for writing 150. And by noon I was in Deutschkurs laughing and having a grand ol' time. I'm going to have to say that German is my favorite class, which might have something to do with my birthday party that we're having tomorrow. You see, we decided this week to have a birthday party every week. Each birthday falls on a Friday. Naturally.
Moving on.
We've been having a lot of issues in the apartment lately. Not between the girls, no. Okay, well a little, but nothing tragic. Two are now engaged which really is a distraction from the other issues at hand. Anyway, back to the issues in the apartment. For months now, and by months I mean the whole eight months I've lived here, we've had hot water issues. It only really presented itself a couple of months ago when it started getting really cold outside and all I wanted was a hot shower. Our router also died so we were stealing internet from our neighbors (who knew that was illegal?). And then went our microwave. What kind of dump am I living in? Jay kay. It's not a dump, it's actually nice and cozy. Homey, in fact. So anyway, we got a new router in the mail that my darling brother, Ryan, installed so we have internet again without the threat of being caught and thrown into jail. Ryan, our landlord, kindly sent us a new microwave (let's not talk about the fact that it is for the counter, not above the stove so now we have *two* microwaves, - only slightly redneckish). And then our sweet and talkative handyman came over today and fixed our hot water heater. It feels like Christmas.
Did you like that part about two of my roommates being engaged? I thought the fact that we have approximately a million wedding invitations on our fridge was evidence enough that I live in Provo. But really, I'm quite happy for them. I promise.
Now that I've gotten blogging out of my system, it's time to work on that paper for real. Then it's off to Ashley and Madi's, because it's Ashley's birthday today. She's nineteen now. Good for her.
