Happy Birthday... to me!

I don't get on here nearly enough these days, which is sad because I actually really love documenting my life via this blog thing. Love it. But today is special because I got the weekend off just because it's my birthday (yes, I do things like that). I'm a first world kind of girl. Whatev.

Definitely tried sleeping in today, but my phone has been buzzing off the hook because so many people love me. No, but seriously. I feel so incredibly loved today, and so blessed and grateful for all my friends and family. Especially with the terrible news of so many children's lives being taken today, in two difference incidents. It's a reminder - a very tragic one - that life is fragile, and something to work hard at every day. All I want to do is let everyone I know that I love them, cover their faces with kisses, and then cuddle all day long.

But celebrating birthday today has been beautiful anyway, and tonight I get to have a date with my best friend (10years and counting). It's a wonderful kind of day regardless the tragedies. Here's hoping you all have just a wonderful weekend!

And here's to life and love! Heaven knows how sacred those things are.
