plans. they fail sometimes.

it's wednesday afternoon here in p-town, and i'm still in my bedroom. go figure.

i was supposed to be in a car somewhere close to the utah/idaho border by now, heading merrily on my way to the lovely green state for a nice long stay with the family. but then my dear cousin's car broke down, and the trip was canceled. so here i sit, next to my two very nicely packed bags, refusing to do anything but possibly get up to go get a cinnamon roll (because that's what sounds nice, okay?).

no worries though, i will make it to the pnw (pacific northwest, in case ya didn't get that). i thought about catching a bus, a train, a flight, or standing on the corner with a sign begging for a ride (i'm not above it!). but alas, those will not do for today, so here in utah i remain. hopefully sunday i'll be driving back, though. stay tuned.

in the meantime i will get that sweet and sticky roll, and probably a burger or three (because burgers are my favorite food these days), and have french toast a few more times (because breakfast is my other favorite food of all time). one of these days i'll get mi padre's camera (nikon d70) from my brother, carry it around with me everywhere, and remember to take some pictures of the food, because the food is to die for. french toast? best place to get it from is me. me and andy, to be exact. we are some food-loving fools, and burgers and french toast just happen to be both of our favorites (though we try "real" food every once in a while), and we are dang good at cooking it up. every once in a while i'll just sit and watch him make everything, which is kind of nice, i'll be honest. the man can hold his own. but burgers? yeah, we just go out for those. jcw's is my favorite right now (the hawaiian burger is to die for), but we are fans of smash burger and -of course- some in-n-out every once in a while.

there. now my food burger obsession is posted so everyone can know about it. i have a problem, most likely. but i am very happy. but that also has something to do with all the love i'm getting these days, in the form of sunday drives and long afternoons. those are the best kinds of things for a girl like me.

now to get to that cinnamon roll.
