What I wouldn't do for a beach!

I'm a Pacific Northwest girl, which means I've grown up on beaches covered in rocks and barnacles.  Ocean shores is sand, but it's cold and rarely sunny.  I've been to California, though, and those warm beaches covered in sand are heavenly.  If I had a car, I would be out the door in an instant and on my way to the Big Sur.  After months of cold and months ahead of me, I am aching for some sun and warm air.
