thank you, best friend.

Right this second I am listening to Story of My Life, by Neil Diamond. Two seconds ago I was crying . Three seconds ago I read my best friend Chelsey's blog.

I'm sitting alone in my apartment, feeling so grateful for my friends. For some reason I have been incredibly blessed with the most wonderful friends in the whole world. That alone tells me that Heavenly Father really loves me a lot, because he has given me beautiful, wonderful, funny friends who give me their shoulders, their hearts, and their trust. They love me unconditionally, and they know me better than I do myself. They give me their time. They love me.

It's a miracle.

But let me tell you a secret: Chelsey is more than my best friend, she's my angel. She has more patience for me than I think anybody else in the world. She knows me inside and out, and helps me understand myself. She is my bosom friend. She trusts me and she respects me. I'm her best friend, and she's mine. She makes me laugh and cry, all within moments. She calls me and leaves me adorable and HILARIOUS messages that I save and listen to over and over and over and over and over again. You get the picture. She has the happiest, most yellow personality in the world. And you know what? She is incredible. She does everything for everybody. She is a selfless person, always acting on her heart, which is so full of love. If you ever met somebody more yellow, and bubbly, and loving... well, I would be shocked. It's just not possible. Actually, I'm on the phone with her right now and she is on something crazy, because she won't stop laughing. Check this:

chelsey: rebecca started crying when she hugged me.

me: umm, hello. i started bawling when i said hello to you.

chelsey: hahahahahahahaha

me: and you started laughing at me!

chelsey: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAAHAAAAHAAAAA!

....

chelsey: delores is crying again.

Ya see? Incredible. I love her a lot. And I'm so, so, so grateful for her. I can't even begin to adequately describe how wonderful of a person she is, and what all she has done for me over the years.

I just love friends. I just love Chelsey.
