Life to Her Years

I ran across this adorable blog today about relationships between father and daughter by a dad named Michael.

The blog-lover in me loves it.
The sap in me loves it.
The daughter in me loves it.

This may come as a surprise to all who know me (not), but I am so touched by all of those simple things he has posted about (if you haven't looked at it yet, go now!).  I get all weepy going through the pages and seeing the pictures, it's almost embarrassing.  Almost.  It makes me reflect to so many of those moments I shared with my dad growing up, and it makes me miss him like nobody's business.  Sometimes I can't believe it's already been four years since he died, but other times it feels like forever.  But it really doesn't matter how long it's been, because I'll always miss him.  And I know I can't have little moments like this with him anymore, but I sure look forward to having a daughter and husband have their's.

So, for all the dads out there, never forget how much your daughters love you.
We love like crazy, people! CRAZY, I say!
