A lifetime of walking.
After practicing in the Wilk this morning, I was walking out behind this couple who looked to be in their eighties. They were walking about an eighth the speed of everyone else, which is incredibly slow, but they were totally happy. It reminded me of how Brigham Young said that everybody is so rushed and busy all the time, and that was over a hundred years ago. This couple? Definitely /not/ rushed.
He was wearing levi's, a bright blue polo, a newsboy hat, and Uggs. That's right, UGGS. His wife, on the other hand, was wearing the most darling little black flats, cropped pants, and a white blouse. They weren't saying a thing as they shuffled along, but with her arm securely connected to his, I could tell they had been walking together this way for years.

"Suddenly, quietly, you realize that - from this moment forth - you will no longer walk through this life alone. Like a new sun this awareness arises within you, freeing you from fear, opening your life. It is the beginning of love, and the end of all that came before." - Robert Frost
