I'm dreaming....
....of a White Christmas!
Actually, we came pretty close years ago in Redmond. It was snowing pretty heavily on Christmas Eve and my whole family went walking in the dark and white through our neighborhood, enjoying the hush that snow miraculously brings, - one of my favorite memories to this day. But the snow was gone by day break.
Okay, so maybe I should explain what my vision of a "white Christmas" is. Ahem: Three feet of snow covering everything, fire going, and hot chocolate on the stove, - oh, and Bing Crosby and Danny Kay singing White Christmas to me from my baby grand. Okay, so minus those singers, but maybe a different one will be there (again with the, "I'm dreaming..") It will take a miracle, but someday I will live in the country away from the water and I /will/ get my "White Christmas", mark my words!
I'll blog about it when it does happen.

Lara. Didn't we get pictures of the white Christmas's we had in both 2007 and 2008? Okay, so maybe not three feet, but in 2008 we had a foot and a half (or so it seemed!)
