I haven't been a big fan of Halloween, the way we do it in the states, for a long time. I'm fairly certain I loved it as a kid, but I just have not gotten into the dressing up and the candy and the parties since I was probably fifteen. I keep saying that it would be so much better if it revolved around a really good feast, so this year I finally made that feast happen. And by "I", I really mean The Foundry Grill at Sundance (I did plan a menu and a whole party, but then remembered I don't have a home to host it in (my search for my own place continues. le sigh.)). Dear friends who also don't care much for Halloween joined, and we feasted the night away. Until 9pm, I mean. Because: bedtime.
